This verse jumped off the page and pierced my heart one day.
For context, the prophet Jeremiah is deep in prayer, pouring out his pain. He's brutally honest with God, who (lovingly yet firmly) responds to his complaints with a rebuke and reminder: Jeremiah is set apart to serve as the voice of God. His calling was to deliver words from heaven, not human perception.
I've loved words for as long as I can remember. Writing for me has been an inescapable, life-long theme.
I started college planning a career in physical therapy ... and emerged as an English major. Then came graduate school, which led to a career working in higher education communications and marketing. Although writing made up a major part of my day job, I could not shake the strong urge to write (and speak) about what truly mattered to me: faith and following Jesus.
Currently, I write to share God's words and inspire others on a similar journey of living bold, fiery, wild, and free. I invite you to read, subscribe, share, and join me!
More than a place to publish my writing, Worthy Words Co. exists to preach the gospel and activate anointed voices across the earth. Here's my prayer for this mission and vision:
Do you desire to grow in knowing God and responding to His voice? You're in good company. Let's connect!
