HEART WORK 🩡

I shall run the way of Your commandments,
For You will enlarge my heart.
Psalm 119:32 NASB95

God longs for us to know his ways, not only his works. He wants true intimacy with his people, not a mere transactional relationship.

He wants a deep heart connection with you and with me. (How incredible is this?) After all, the Lord commands us to love him with our entire heart, soul, mind, and strength. And whatever God commands of us, he gives us the grace, the supernatural empowerment, to fulfill.

Hallelujah!

This week the Lord reminded me of a Bible study I wrote in the spring of 2020 β€” the final project for my Luke & Acts class and the culmination of my master's degree in Ministry Leadership from Crown College.

The study is titled Heart Work and it's based on the Parable of the Sower. I've been reading through it again myself, as I'm feeling a fresh invitation and gentle question from Jesus: How's your heart, darling? Let's tend to it together. I delight to restore your soul.

Life is beautiful but it can also be brutal sometimes. Jesus told us that in this world we will have trouble. The good news is that our good Father wants to tend, to strengthen, to enlarge our heart so we can know him better and run our race with endurance.

Don't give up! Hear him telling you today: Take heart! I have overcome the world. You're an overcomer and more than a conquerer.

I felt the Holy Spirit's nudge to send this Bible study as a gift to those on my email list β€” that's you! It's a six-day study, and I pray that it blesses you. Feel free to pass it along it to other friends. Click below to access it...

Blessings,

Chelsea

P.S. I'll be at Stories Coffee in Gretna this Saturday. I'd love to see you! Come enjoy coffee and a good book!
